Nation at Risk Tweet

A 1983 government study, “Nation at Risk,” warned us that our low-performing school system was an existential threat.  Since we failed to act on the dire warning, and others that followed, we now clearly see that the nonpartisan and bipartisan warnings were accurate.  Are we going to fail to act, again?
